Ben reaching out to get my refund that Im entitled to and the last thing the secretary said she was goin to give me call back when she reaches the refund stage since Andrew has passed away but it ben over 2 months now they dont even pick up there fones or email

2/26/24So what happens now , been with Andrew for the past 5yrs with my husbands immigration process, paid all our lawyer fees, to get an email 2 days ago that he had passed and come to find out he passed since the beginning of January. Now be left with no answers or someone finishing the process or a recommendationBasically figure it out on your own.
3/19/24 Still no notice on refund my husbands electronic file was sent incomplete. Have called the CA state bar numerous times since their # was the one on Andrews Office door, and no luck. And like other reviews nobody answers office phone and voicemail is full.

Timelines during Covid
1. They handled my marriage case in Dec-2021
2. My Green card based Employment Authorization Document (EAD) was received in Jul-2022
3. My Green Card was received in May-2023. Evidence documentation + covid times probably good enough to not warrant any interview in our case.
4. He is a friendly person.

Paid lawyer fees. Received a phone call saying that he's passed and will get a refund. Wasted about 2 months on a case that I could've submitted. More than a month later, now no one is answering calls or returning emails on the refund matter.
