My girl is very shy at the beginning and is not open up with other kids easily. Teacher Ma has spent quality of time to work with her. My girl comes home and share with me that Teacher Ma taught her a lot things like colored, numbers and words. The setting is clean, and staff is friendly. Teacher Ma will send me of my girl learning process and some photos of each special day at my girl school. I am very happy of receiving these photos of knowing what my girl learns from school daily.

Apparently this childcare only accepts "Chinese" (Asians) the lady on the phone stated. Way to discriminate!

This review is long overdue.  We moved to CV and needed daycare, and was lucky to have gotten a spot at Little Bud.  My kiddo went to Little bud 5 years ago, although only for 7 months (short length because we switched to my niece's preschool to get transportation help from family).  Love Miss Michelle and the teachers!  They are loving and kind.  Love that they teach the kiddos mandarin!  We don't speak but can understand mandarin; my kiddo was able to pick it up and even recited some little poems.  Long hours to accommodate most working parents and delicious healthy food (that my picky eater actually ate) is provided, making things so much easier on parents.  Thank you Miss Michelle and Little Bud staff.  You are all amazing and I don't know what we would've done without you!

My child has been attending this daycare/preschool for the past 3 wonderful years! Really appreciate the teachers for the care and knowledge my daughter received there, allowing us to feel confident that she's well prepared for Kindergarten!Little Bud provides excellent care to kids both physically and mentally. This is one of the only daycare/preschool that offers dinner to kids! Everyday they receive 3 nutritious, balanced, home-made meals, are encouraged to drink milk along with meals, and are offered fruits as afternoon snacks. All teachers are bilingual with Chinese and English, and they incorporate Mandarin poems, songs, and vocabulary learning into their classes. The owner, Teacher Ma, is very experienced with teaching and provides just the right amount of structure/routine to kids without forcing them to learn. She sends phots/videos of my daughter learning from time to time, and I could see that she makes it fun to learn with a lot of cards and props. Now my daughter can recite a handful of Chinese poems, and knows her numbers and letters, and also learned simple additions in both languages! In addition, Little Bud let kids to try a variety of hand crafts for special occasions and holidays to bring home. Over time we have a good collection of fun memories! If you'd like your child to attend this place, I would recommend to get on the waitlist ASAP as it's very popular, and be patient for a spot - It usually frees up in the summer as kids move onto Kindergarten. We've had to wait for about 8 months for our spot, and it's one of the best decisions as we look back!
