I had a drainage problem in the side yard and Brent was quick to come out and diagnose. He repaired the pipes and did great work. He was reliable, honest and his pricing was more than fair. I highly recommend Older Homes Specialists if you need a solution to any drainage problems - Brent is an expert and a pleasure to work with!

OHS installed a sprinkler system for my property and the system is leaking. I asked Brent to come take a look. Without coming over to look at the leaks (3 leaks) he said the system needed a pvc filter installed. I asked why a filter was not installed when the work was initially completed if he knew the issue without looking. Evidently, I asked the wrong question because a storm of ranting was unleashed. He told me "You don't know what you're talking about, you're wrong" He was ranting at me for the entire phone call. I couldn't get a word in, he just kept ranting over everything I tried to say.
I asked him to calm down and let's talk this out. Nope. Still ranting and more insults. I was told, "You're not in the industry, you don't know anything" and began telling me I was saying things I did not say. He has the text messages to prove it. I did not text anything he said. There was no reasoning or talking with him. Disappointing. Instead of working with clients on addressing installed work, OHS would rather just be irrational and unhelpful. Unprofessional service.
According to Brent I don't know anything, but there are a couple things I do know for certain:
I know a couple sprinkler lines and an improperly glued coupling are constantly leaking.
I know OHS has terrible customer service.
I know I will never recommend OHS to anyone to do anything.

I appreciate the apology, thank you. I wanted to let you know that the filters you recommended were not the issue. It was the 3 leaks from 3 separate pvc pipes into the bottom of 3 sprinkler valves from improper installation was what I called about. I had to spend another $800 on top of the $4000 I paid you to have another contractor come out and fix the leaks. You decided to not honor the 1 year warranty on your work after 1 month. No filters have ever been installed. I stand by my review and I would not recommend you to anyone and I would never hire you again. Good luck to you.

Brent was on time, did a good job and finished on time.
I asked that he come back and fine-tune one thing. He did so and was very thorough.

I couldn't recommend Brent and his team more for any lawn care or drainage needs. We needed a sump pump inspected and replaced, and our drainage system inspected, and he was very professional and quick to respond to any questions, friendly, and also just very transparent with pricing. His quotes were also very reasonable.
We'll return to him for any future drainage needs - it always helps to work with people you can trust!

We just had a sump pump system put in and everything works great and they cleaned up all the mess. looks great. We will use them again for any drainage or sprinkler needs
