MCLD landscaped our newly built Carmel home in 2007-8. Much of it looked and functioned nicely at the outset. However, with time it became obvious that many of the plant and tree choices were poor. We're relatively close to the water, and have had to replace virtually every major plant/tree on the ocean side of our home starting only 6-7 years after. Two subsequent landscapers commented that virtually every plant/tree was poorly chosen and destined to die. To make matters worse, MCLD wouldn't return phone calls/emails. My advice is to choose more wisely than we did. $80,000, much of it wasted.

We spent about $100,000 with Ms. Comeau and had significant problems downstream. Couldn't get Ms. Comeau to return calls, return emalils, respond to our problems. If complete lack of follow up is of no concern to you, then I would say go with Comeau Design. Otherwise I would look elsewhere as there are many competent landscape professionals in or near Carmel & Pebble.
