Hofsas House Hotel

We had Room 1, overlooking the pool. Easy to load and unload the car. Ramps go up to the balcony to your room. Comfortable bed and quiet room. A little bit far from shopping, but then we discovered the bus just 2 blocks away on Junipero St and it takes you right into the shopping district for a $2 fare! Cool. Great little breakfast with scrumptious pastries, yogurt and juice. Thank you for a very pleasant week, we will be back for the holidays.

I stayed here in August last year and forgot to write a review. I came back to San Francisco in early April this year. Just came to replenish the card. This hotel is beautiful. It comes with breakfast, but the breakfast is very simple. Coffee and simple bread must be taken back to the room to eat. What I want to emphasize is that the faucet in this hotel has a very small amount of water, making it impossible to shower. If you need to wash your hair, you should give up. I was staying in room 5. Water pressure should be improved.

Nice and cozy hotel perfectly located in 5 minutes walk from stores and restaurants. The room was clean. The shower was tiny but convenient. It was good to have microwave and coffee maker, though we didnt use them. There were pastry, yogurt, banana, juice and coffee that you can bring to your room for breakfast. No air conditioner, though in Carmel you would not need for the most of the year.

The pink buildings and decals at Hofsas are adorable. The pool is clean and warm, the thermostat in the bedroom worked well, and the bathroom floor was heated. Our room was large and had a wonderful view, and there was even a little kitchen with a fridge and table to sit at. But traffic noise was loud at times, as was noise from the room overhead. And as is all too often the case at hotels, garbage morning--on Thursday when we were there--was difficult to sleep through.
