make

Make is still under construction but it looks AMAZING! I brought my bike in to the Canyon Bike Demo Center for a tune up last week and walked around a bit while I waited Canyon is in a the SW corner of the Make complex. I was amazed by the landscape and architecture of this place it is beautiful with a bunch of private, small group and large group gathering areas interspersed between 3 or 4 buildings There is a fire pit with Adirondack chairs, an ampitheater with a huge white screen built into the side of a building. There are private, split-level areas with small dining tables. There are groups of bar height tables. There are more areas designated by large, vertical, steel panels. There are several shipping container size eateries. I also saw a HUGE gym that already has loads of equipment inside: free weights, machines, cardio & yoga mats. An inner corridor has surfboard racks on one side with river rock & drainage and outdoor showers on the other side - even one equipped for wheel chairs or very short people. The desks were getting installed that day in long rows with big arms to hold over-size monitors. The parking area is huge, too, and circles the building so no one will have far to walk from desk to car. This place is so close to the ocean! There is a public park at the old power station to the North, and the Pacific Highway is getting a major update to facilitate bicyclists and pedestrians in that area. This would be a phenomenal place to work!

Elizabeth was very empathetic and amazing! She understood that I came from a very sedentary lifestyle and adjusted my workout plan, taught me how to do the workouts, helped me with doing them correctly, and has been really helpful towards helping me know how to change into a healthier lifestyle. I like the variety of equipment that move at make provides. I'm able to do things that I wasn't able to do at Planet Fitness (like the TRX things). I don't know the guest process but I'd like to bring a workout partner to help keep me accountable. I really like it here.

Great facilities and staff. The amenities are great and a perk for tenants and staff.
