John Schnack Photography

I have been working with John for years and this review is long overdue! Beyond his very obvious talent with a camera, John is one of my favorite photographers to have on the team for a wedding day. He is organized but not uptight and understands that timing needs to adjust as the day flows naturally. Experience is key, and he has plenty. On top of it all he is a wonderful human to be around and those are just the vibes you want on a wedding day!

"We feel so lucky that John photographed our destination wine country wedding. The entire experience with him was so natural I hardly had to say much of what I wanted, he had it handled. From the moment we met him, he felt like an old friend of ours. His presence seemed so subtle on the day and yet every tender moment is captured up close. My job requires me to work with so many talented photographers and so I will admit that finding the right photographer was a challenge for me. Johns work caught my eye as his images all feel so real. We have hired John for family portraits after our great experience and can't wait to do so again as soon as we can all be together. I could not recommend him more, he is so easy and reliable to work with."

Working with John was a pleasure. He took the time to get to know us prior to the sessions and we were in constant communication. With my wife we went to have a coffee with John where we talked about the expectations of the sessions (engagement and wedding). He really cares about his clients and the quality of his work. He has been very professional and considerate at all times during our engagement photography session and with our wedding photos. Both my wife and I, our friends and family were impressed by the quality of the results. John has the ability to bring out the best in a specific moment and frame it in a photographic image. It has been very easy to work with him and he has adapted his work to the weather conditions, to the shadows of the photography environment or any other unexpected occasion. He has managed to capture every special moment and this is exactly what we wanted from a professional photographer.

We cannot rave enough about John as a wedding photographer!! From the first phone call to making the album we will cherish forever, John was spectacular through and through. His steady presence was exactly what we needed as we navigated a wedding during the pandemic, and our constantly evolving plans. He recommended an engagement session which allowed everyone to get to know each other before the wedding day and helped us relax in front of the camera. He was so responsive and never got annoyed with our endless questions. We are so happy with how all of photos turned out, and have gotten nothing but rave reviews from everyone weve shared them with. John became a true friend over the past year and we will definitely have him photograph more events in our future. I truly cannot recommend him enough!!
