      image Discovered a plumbing code violation in our newly built home. Cal West refuses to correct it even though the building inspector identifies it as a violation in writing. One would expect more from a company that touts itself as a high quality builder who claims that if a problem is found will take measures to make it right. Our experience is just the opposite. We followed the requirements of the "Right to Repair" law by sending them a written notice of the newly discovered violation and providing them an opportunity to correct the problem. They immediately went on defense and rejected our request to remediate the violation by sending us a dismissive letter from their attorney. Service: Home building
