I think this place COULD have been good. BUT the guy who set it up for me lied about almost 100%. If you want leave because you are there by will DO NOT sign the the 24 hour hold on your own stuff. I had to freeze and almost not make it for no food out the facility oh the streets of LA for 24 hours. The staff is not professional all former addicts not medically license professionals. There is some staff who thing there tough and gangster but really not about it. I had a better experience in state prison than I did at this facility.

I owe my life to restore health and wellness they gave me a second chance I didn't think I deserved but they took the time to make me feel like I'm growing up and can handle life under any circumstances. I will and have referred people to this amazing treatment center. The staff is unlike any others they care and understand. I miss them all

In retrospect I really enjoyed this facility. The education is really really good. I reference it daily and Ive been sober 8 months now! The housing though somewhat unusual is really transformative and sets this facility apart from others. You get to be with your recovery community 24/7 which is surprisingly wonderful. You have everything you need in that house including large rooms, a gym, a pool and sauna, laundry, 24 hr support and like Hulu and Netflix. The staff is beyond amazing. They are very personable and really will handle situations that arise(because they do).
The schedule though grueling at times is great too(I miss it). Oh gosh the CHEFS! The meals are controversial but I enjoyed them and if thats what youre complaining about in life then youre doing pretty well. My case manager was beyond amazing he felt like a friend. They all kind of felt like friends not just like they work there.
One thing that sets this apart from other places is that they listen to you and genuinely care(I took that for granted there) and it doesnt matter the color of your skin, sex or sexuality. I wish I could do it again but with a positive attitude.
Id highly recommend to people especially minorities.

Restore Health and Wellness played a huge roll in saving my life from my alcohol abuse. I was a broken Man a pond my arrival in LA California where Restore suggested Id need rehab hospitalization to start my recovery since alcoholism ruled my life. I completed a 20 day stay at Laguna treatment hospital in Aliso Viejo Ca. And decided to continue further help with Restore Health and Wellness center to resume my treatment. Restore taught me how to Live my life happily with the abstinence of alcohol. I am now 14 months sober with a ton of support, living life free again beyond my wildest dreams. Thank you Restore.
