I've been using the sticks for several months now and have found improvements in my overall range of motion and much less pain and tightness in my lower back. I sit for many hours at work and have been using the sticks intermittently through-out the day to help counter the effects of sitting. I also use them before playing sports and afterward to help with recovery. When I go through some drills with the sticks post-workout I am usually less tight and fatigued the next day. After I play / ride / workout hard, my brain wants to just go lay on the couch, but if I actually do some work with the sticks and then rest, then I feel more ready to exercise again the next day versus being so stiff and sore. The sticks have also helped identify different problem areas in my body in terms of imbalances from one side to the other. I have learned my hip complex is much tighter with less range of motion on one side, which has helped me consciously focus on improving that side to try be more balanced. Learning this from using the sticks and feeling the feedback while doing the drills has seemed to help alleviate other issues in my mid-back area that I believe were over-compensating due to the misbalance. This took some time and still requires daily work, but the stick exercises have helped my body be more comfortable throughout the day and while sleeping, and I've not had any more back spasms and lock-ups to date. There are three sticks in this package. The two longer sticks and a single short one. There are different drills for using one stick, then others that use the two long ones, that I prefer as it's faster to do both sides of the body at once and also gives me more balance / support for some of the harder balance moves like the single leg romanian deadlifts. The short stick ones I use for drills mostly on the floor like 90-90's (hard, but good for the hips and lower back), deadbugs (good for the core) and some standing ones like the shoulder mobility drills in a kayaking style movement. I have been doing regular stretches for many years but still had issues. The sticks so far seem to be more effective for me, and I also find them more interesting to do versus normal stretching, so I'm continuing to invest the time and put in the work. I found lots of exercise videos on the stick mobility youtube channel that I use on my iPhone and the YouTube app on my TV, which is easier for me than watching them on the stick mobility website.
