I cant remember when Ive written a review, if ever, but my experience definitely deserves one. Are you afraid of the dentist, like I am? Go to Camarillo Dental Group. I encouraged my daughter to try this office after bad experiences elsewhere. Although she is a young adult, I went with her to get a feel for this office, hoping I would feel comfortable to give it a go myself. Rhiann, the office manager, is so knowledgeable, patient and kind. Each treatment plan and payment options were explained so we understood each step. My daughter has had extensive treatments and always felt safe, emotionally supported and well cared for. It gave me the courage to schedule an appointment for myself!! :) I had a consultation, which was affordable without insurance. The technician, who took my X-rays was friendly, informative and gentle. I met Dr Roberson and he explained the care I needed and answered all my questions and concerns. He was very gentle. He explained the prioritization of the treatment plan and why. I shared my feelings of being anxious and scared. He explained all the options to help me. My feelings were respected and addressed never minimized or dismissed. I was overwhelmed and nervous but I spoke with Rhiann and she helped schedule my appointment and explained payment options, while being kind and supportive. I had a big appt yesterday and Dr Roberson, Assistant Jun and Assistant Nadine supported me every step of the way. Their positive, caring attitudes made all the difference. It felt like I was being cared for by family. I also saw the Dr Guise and his assistant for treatment, again, I felt safe and supported. My daughter raved . Dr Guise is the best. Because of the excellent service, Ill be able to build on this positive experience and take better care of my oral health, which I know affects my entire body. A most sincere thank you to all the staff, who cared for me, even those not mentioned by name here. Words cant express the depth of my gratitude.

Had a bad experience with the contracting Oral Surgeon, Joshua Ely. The front desk told me my copay was $200 range and the surgeon wanted to collect an extra $1300 for a tooth extraction "because he needed to do a bone graph and that was extra." I called my insurance and verified that my cost was only the $230 and a bone graph is covered as part of the procedure. I also know this is true because my primary dentist did an extraction and bone graph and everything was covered. Also he was running over 2 hours late and no one ever asked me if I wanted to reschedule, I waited for two and a half hours and then just left and I am so glad I did rather than pay for that scammer. Really poor office management.

To : Camarillo Dental Group Staff ::: This letter is from a ( happy trooper client ) :::: One of the good things in life is having a ** quality care providers ** around and be ready when we need them !!! I know this fact of life because, as a retired physician, many many of my patients had told + shared with me their feelings and concerns. I am so fortunate of switched dental care services recently to the Camarillo Dental Group when I relocated to the city of Camarillo. Dr. Shane Roberson, who treated and performed my oral procedures, is indeed a professional, courteous, skillful empirical, and savant. As a care provider myself, I have nothing but respect and extol for Dr. Roberson !!~! Having Dr. Roberson as my dentist is like ** winning a lottery ticket ** !! The front desk staffs --- E.Ochoa + R.Komatsu + S.Montano --- have demonstrated the ( moment of truth customer services ) to the clients --- professional + amicable + knowledgeable demure. And dental care staff --- J. Martinez + L. Zalapa - Tavers + N. Rexha L. Joaquin --- are just wonderful + professional + efficacious + convivial !!! Lastly, M. Lamas, who performed deep cleaning for me, also deserves a high appraisal for her friendliness + professionalism + skills + thoughtfulness !!!
