I will never purchase from this place again i paid 170 plus to get a photocell for a liftmaster gate and it went out after 5 months they want to charge me 150.00 dollars to give me the RMA number so liftmaster can replace the item. Even though the item has a 2 year warranty they want to charge me to send it back. How crazy is that no customer service at all.

Ordering a circuit board for a slide gate from this company was a huge mistake. I received a completely different item than I ordered using the information on their website. I was given a fake address to return the item for a replacement and it took several days for the item to be returned to me. I then mailed the item to the address it was mailed from and when it arrived back to them, Melissa told me the item had to be tested before she could send a replacement of the correct item and that might take up to 15 days. This place is a scam! The website information is not accurate and they did not contact me for additional information. I was told to not go by what I saw on the website. They are ridiculous! If you advertise a product on a website you can not ship something completely different and then blame the customer for ordering.

I have. been looking for weeks to find a gate opener for my small horse ranch in Sequim, Wa. 98382. They call it a gate operator for some reason. The more info I got the more technical everything became and the less confident I felt in making the correct decision. There are a huge number of options available and types to purchase making it all the more difficult. I called the PSS store randomly and first spoke with Angelina who was very kind but said she couldn't help me with any technical info which turned out to be incorrect because she was able to find out the difference in the lift master models I was checking out. For instance she was able to decipher the differences in linear gate movement capabilities, such as the weight capacities etc. The more I found out about some of the liftmaster specs, such as they make a lot of operators for other companies , and there are a few companies that make 90% of the water heaters in the USA under different brand names and liftmaster is one of those companies that make gate openers for many companies Needing some technical info I was transferred to Jeff, one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever spoken to. I found out so much useful stuff, I dare not attempt to even paraphrase what he told me, suffice it to say I found out why and what the best reasons to purchase the Liftmaster LA500PKGU 24 VDC that was apparently one of the most popular and cost effective models I could ever buy. Lucky me to chance upon the one guy who gave me enough reasons to make an instant decision [which only took 4 weeks of researching] ha, ha, ha, only 4 weeks. It was so compelling that when we were done speaking, I had no buyers remorse and felt fortunate to have finally made a decision. His 30 years in the business was well spent and lately, I've been on a role, meeting and working with smart people, what a blessing to be able to talk to people who really know their craft. The best part of all of this is to be able to pass on my good fortune and what I have learned. Most people write reviews when they are angry or p%$%^ off at someone or just angry. If someone reads this review and is in the market for a gate opener, they can discover what I did, some knowledgeable people that can make their decision a lot easier, Jeff was super and I can't thank him enough for him helping me the way he did. So now I can wait for my operator to come and in addition he told me that a separate cable can be put in the trench to allow push button operation to open and close it without using a wireless remote control. I hope this review is informative to those seeking a similar product
