Dr Cooper is the best of the best but her process is super complex and appointments are sloooooooow. I expect to be there for 90min on average. I would not recommend for regular patients.

This review is specifically for the opticals division. We love Dr. Kim Cooper and she has helped our son a lot. The opticals department is a nightmare. We ordered two pairs of glasses and one pair of sports goggles in the beginning of May at which time they told me it would take 4 weeks. Which itself was quite a lot compared to other places but I was ok as they assured me I will get it by the time we were traveling in mid June. Come June there is no sign of the glasses. My numerous calls go unanswered and finally their manager assured me they will give me atleast one pair by the time I leave. Which was a lie because on the day of our flight they blamed the lab saying it wasnt sent. Who should take ownership? Did I place the order with them or the lab?? Now come 7 weeks and they still havent delivered the one frame that was promised. Apparently buying glasses through insurance adds delays! And I was charged over 400$ for all of this! They are so incompetent that they dont answer calls or have the courtesy to return back calls. No respect for the time and money of patients. I might just report them to the business bureau for fraud at this point. In another country I got my son his lenses and frames in 4 days, so much for a developed country.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Kim, an eye doctor, and I have to say that my experience was quite disappointing. The staff at the office made me fill out over 10 pages of paperwork days before my appointment, only to find out when I arrived that they didn't accept my insurance. This was extremely frustrating and a complete waste of my time. To make matters worse, the waiting area was not pleasant at all. I was forced to sit in the hallway facing the bathrooms while I waited for my appointment. This made me feel very uncomfortable and exposed, as people were constantly passing by me while I waited. I understand that waiting rooms can be busy, but this was unacceptable. Overall, my experience with Dr. Kim's office was very poor. The staff should have informed me beforehand that they didn't accept my insurance, so that I wouldn't have wasted my time filling out all of the paperwork. Additionally, the waiting area was not comfortable or private, which made the experience even more unpleasant. I would not recommend this eye doctor to anyone, and I will be looking for a new one for my future eye care needs.

No STAR, if possible! First time patient as I had switched insurances. Had not gotten an eye exam in several years (My BAD). BUT, what a mistake to pick this med practice belonging in my insurance network ! Worst eye exam I've EVER experienced in my adult life. Initial checking-in (I'm 15 minutes early), facing a yellow tape at the open door to prevent entry at suite #235. Was instructed to wait in a chair outside instead to be called, facing the restroom opposite. Then, placed in the waiting and then exam room combined for 55 minutes and No Show of the Doc. Excuse was an emergency as they always tell you. Very cold exam room with cold air blowing, sitting there trying to keep warm and keeping my sanity too. 1950's exam chair belongs in a Museum! After 40 minutes of being so cold and not taking this much longer, I am stepping out of the room asking the staff how much longer I need to wait. Assured me that I will be taking care of very shortly. Instead, someone else (sub) showed up to do my exam. Not the Doc! NO dilation of eyes before exam was performed for what needs to happen for an annual eye exam. (Sub) took pics after the exam without dilation. Pics retaken several times because blurry for one eye due to me as a patient not being dilated as it should be for any eye exam. Overall spent 2+ hours there. Left this place absolutely bewildered. Cannot RECOMMEND this place to ANYONE and will never return. NEVER Saw Dr. Cooper at my appointment and no follow-up every since from the office regarding retaking pics with dilation, as was promised by the the sub, to get a better picture of BOTH eyes. This was an absolute waste of time money. It's not enough to vent here, but to report this kind of mistreatment and rip-off of a patient and then billing the provider you pay insurance premiums to on a monthly basis. UNACCEPTABLE!
