Pacific Surgery Center

My experience with the Pacific Surgery Center was top notch.  I was there twice in May 2022 for cataract surgery and was pleased with the service, staff, procedures and patient care both times.  They are efficient and well-organized, thoughtful and kind.  I received planning information well ahead of time and they also called 2 days prior to surgery to followup on all instructions.  The ladies in the front office (Bonnie and Brandi) were a delight to work with and I felt confident I'd be well cared for.  Bonnie met me in the parking lot and walked me in, providing a fresh face mask and guided me through all the preparation.  Any questions I had were answered with a pleasant attitude and a smile.  As I was prepped, nursing staff frequently checked to ensure I was comfortable and provided status. After the procedure they provided juice and ensured I was steady on my feet, then carefully escorted me to my ride home.  I would strongly recommend Pacific Eye Surgery Center.

My recent experience with Pacific Surgery Center was wonderful.Dr. Feinfield did my cataract surgery on both eyes, two weeks apart.The staff and Dr. Feinfield were very professional, and the procedure went smoothly.   I am happy to say after years of wearing glasses I can see clearly in the distance.  The colors are vibrant, and the letters are clear.

This place should have NO stars but that's not an option with YELP. I would give ZERO stars if possible. The pretend NOT licensed nurse Bonnie is rude and nasty. I saw her shove the other nurses who are RNs and licensed. She yelled the entire time I was there at patients and staff. She was incredibly rude! For some reason she was putting drops in patients and doing things I thought only a nurse does. This place is scary crazy and she is running the asylum with out a license!

Negative stars would be the review...no issues with Doctor or Surgery BUT BEWARE. There is a very incapable and stupid woman doing billing who incorrectly billed my insurance for years and has now brought lawyers and creditors for HER MISTAKE.  Blue Cross is horrified by this idiotic billing and the amount of time spent to try to rectify her mistakes....BEWARE!!!!

To be fair, and I was treated very well by the nursing staff during my cataract procedure recently. Dr. Berg preformed a specialized Femtosecond procedure and I had a good outcome.BUT, this is completely overshadowed by the fact that they shared my insurance company no longer covered anesthesia for a cataract procedure, which they had known for almost a month, less than 30 minutes before my operation. Surgery is stressful, I had planned it in Advance what this would cost me out-of-pocket, so finding this out, at the last minute, when I had no choice but to proceed, and no idea what this would cost me, Made a stressful time much worse. I don't know how anybody else would feel, but I was really pissed.
