It's very difficult to schedule same day appointments. I was turned away today for a sick visit and was referred to urgent care which charges twice as much. Keep in mind that I called at 8:15 a.m. and they were already booked solid for the day. My kids' Doctor is never available and the nurse practitioner usually takes over sick visits and infant follow-ups for immunizations, etc. I formerly worked as front office manager for a pediatrics practice in Tarzana, CA and I always planned ahead for sick child visits. I'm really disappointed with Burbank Pediatrics Affiliates.

Dr. Hammar was my pediatrician, and now she see's my kids. I have never had a problem wither her or anyone in her office. She would always take the time to get to the root of the problem, not just write a quick prescription and leave for the next patient. I don't think there is a better Doctor than Susan Hammar.

LOVE love love Dr Ashburn and George (5 stars and above for them) we are always so happy to go to the doctor because they make it fun and we feel really well cared for. I never met Dr Saifee at this practice. I did meet Dr Hammar when my son was first born, she came to the hospital for the initial visit and I was not a fan of her at all - not very warm or friendly, she said I had pitting edema in my ankles when there was clearly none (I'm a LVN and I know what pitting edema looks like...) and never was thru my whole perinatal experience, new mom's are already not feeling great about themselves post natal and pointing out a flaw that wasn't even there was not a good way to start a relationship. Thankfully we don't see her tho, we only see Dr Ashburn and I wouldn't have it any other way!!
