        This is one of the finest primary care doctors I have ever had. He listens. He's patient. He's engaging. He sets you at ease immediately. He's a healer, yes, but he's also the kind of doctor whom you feel really cares about you and your well being. If UCLA's huge medical rep is based on people like Dr. Clagg, I can see why they're such a highly rated medical center. He and my knee surgeon Dr. Sassoon at UCLA Orthopedic are the best doctors I have ever had.

        The reason I chose Dr. Clagg was because he was advertised as an LGBTQ+ Top Provider, but I felt like he had a very "ER-style" approach upon meeting him. It was very transactional, and his demeanor was impersonal. Of course, he did an exam, and was charting all the symptoms I have, and sure, I received some sort of treatment. But, I had to insist on ordering lab work because my hemoglobin was high in the past, and he felt that it was unnecessary. I just didn't feel really seen, or heard, and it didn't occur to me that he really was an health advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. My whole intention was to reassign my PCP as Dr. Clagg, but it doesn't seem like I felt "seen" or "cared that I was his patient". Such a disappointment.

        He is a superman, my whole family is visiting him, including a kid with special needs. Thanks to him I am not suffering anymore from annoying face skin issues I had for more than 10 years. We just come and he solves all our issues like puzzles, and he is a good person overall. And we like UCLA, its a nice place with awesome people working there.
