I have been a patient for approx. 2 yrs but I am fed up with the poor service. The doctor sees you for one minute and the staff conduct all the tests. I had a check up two months prior and needed to purchase more contacts, I call approx 15 times and finally they answered. I asked for a copy of the contact prescription and they email me an expired prescription. I personally went to the office and a rude person told me that I needed to make an appointment for getting a new prescription. If I was told that my vision had not change, why I have to make another appointment for the same thing. This office is not interested in the wellbeing of the patients but the money they can make from them.

The eye care I have received from Dr. Tannenbaum and her colleagues at A Center for VisionCare has been spectacular, and I highly recommend this team and their services. She has treated me previously for glaucoma, and most recently performed lens replacement in both eyes to correct the cataracts that have been a challenge growing for the last few years. The new lenses also corrected the severe nearsightedness I have had to deal with since I was about 10 years old. I could not be happier with the results which I consider truly life changing. They handled all the procedures and their coordination with professionalism, care, and kindness.

I was anxious about cataract surgery. I was concerned that my extreme myopia, astigmatism, and keratoconus, in addition to my advanced cataracts might mean that surgery wouldn't result in giving me good vision. Dr Tannenbaum was phenomenal in addressing all my vision issues so thoroughly and the results, six months post op, are beyond my wildest hope. For the first time since I was in kindergarten I do not have to wear corrective lenses. Extraordinary!

Went in for my yearly eyes glasses exam (1 for reading pairs and 1 for distance pairs) and 5 months later they billed me actual ophthalmologist Health Visit. (I have my own different ophthalmologist I go to yearly). Front office never answer phones or messages, billing is a mess. However, Jerome in the front glasses dept is very helpful, happy and friendly.

I've been coming to Dr. Meallet for over 12 years for my glaucoma and also had him perform my PRK surgery many years ago. While this office always used to have its little quirks and been a bit on the slow side, the past year or two it has turned into a total shit-show of incompetence. From botched scheduling and billing to appointments that take FOREVER (if you can even manage to get one) to the intern I had today who literally couldn't perform ANY of the testing or work the machines properly - just all bad. I will not be going back.
