My husbands appointment with Dr Hanna was so horrible that it seems unbelievable. Dr Hanna accused my husband of drug seeking because one of his complaints was severe, chronic headache. She was rude, dismissive and degrading. My husband was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia with Parkinsons by 2 other neurologists and we were able to start treatment for him. He is now in Hospice care. Dr Hanna should be avoided!

After years of suffering from extremely debilitating migraines, Dr Hanna offered me different treatments until we found the one that works. She has been a miracle doctor for me. I have been pain free for months and my life completely changed because of her. She always listens to my concerns, takes all the time with me and she has fought with my insurance to get me a very expensive medication. I love Dr Hanna and I will never leave her.

Four stars only because of he staff. They do not get messages correct very disturbing. Have seen Dr Hanna since 2013 and she is the most compassionate doctor I have. She is very knowledgable and professional.

Not a patient, but a spouse of one. My spouse was initially diagnosed with a condition that could have been a precursor to a more serious condition. When I asked whether we should consider the possibility that this might be the more serious condition, Dr. Hanna dismissed my suggestion. Instead, she assured my wife that she too young to have this sort of thing happen and that the treatment goal was to get her back to status quo ante. After about 6 months of treatment, and referrals back and forth to other specialists, that positivity and optimism turned from getting my wife back to her pre-disability condition to: you should be glad you arent a paraplegic. At that point, a second opinion was in order. That second opinion revealed that my wife did, in fact, have the more serious condition that I originally suggested - because the second doctor ordered additional scans that Hanna had not. So, because of Hannas myopic focus on treating a symptom, instead of ordering these scans, the true cause of my wifes condition remained undiagnosed for several months - months that my wife could have been receiving treatment for her illness in its early stages. As for the office experience, I was initially allowed to accompany my wife on some of her exams but, when progress slowed and I started questioning what the treatment plan was, I was told the office policy (not posted or otherwise announced) had changed to prevent more than one person from being in an exam room. The staff claimed it was for Covid-related reasons - even though Covid cases had bottomed out and most medical offices were eliminating mask mandates and other similar policies at that time. As the spouse of the patient, I was seeing certain neurological symptoms and changes that my wife tended to overlook or would forget to mention during doctor visits. If anything, a neurologist should welcome this information to round out their understanding of the patients condition. After all, the other specialists we were seeing at the time seemed to appreciate having that knowledge. But, nope, not this doctor. Instead, she made sure to bar me from visits so she wouldnt have to deal with me or face direct questions and concerns about my wifes long-term prognosis. As others have noted, the staff here are either tone-deaf to the consequences of how their office policies affect patients or they dont care. They are often curt and sometimes just plain rude. This is the only doctors office I have ever known that wouldnt complete a DMV disability placard application during the same office visit it was presented. My wife was unable to walk and was using a wheelchair - so she clearly qualified for such a placard. Despite this, Dr. Hannas policy was that we had to leave our paperwork and come back for it later when the doctor had time to review her condition and sign the form. Once she finally deigned to sign it - and I had to drive back to the office, pay for parking, etc. to pick it up - I was told by staff that the doctor had graciously waived her standard $25 document preparation fee. Really? You not only delay this document for weeks but then act like you doing me a favor by not charging for something that no other doctor would ever consider charging for? Unbelievable.
