image The staff was great. Very polite and helpful. Enjoyed the bar. Rooms had what a small family of 3 needed. Really enjoyed the activity area outside. Great location as well. Near Warner Bros studio, An easy drive to Universal Studios. There's a Trader Joe's nearby as well as numerous food and drink locales a short drive/ walk from the hotel. The only downside was the condition of the rooms. The carpet, tabletops, shower curtain were stained and/or scratched up. There were only a few pumps of conditioner in the shower. When i first entered the room I saw how thin the mattresses were. I was concerned that I'd feel springs. I dont think i felt any springs, however, the beds were so hard my hip started hurting. (And i regularly sleep on a firm mattress at home.) The pillows were very thin as well. Maybe this is normal for hotels in the area. Idk. Rooms with stains are creepy but I could tell that the housekeeping staff tried to keep the hotel clean. Overall, we had a great stay. The staff made the hotel very welcoming. Thank you!
Nearby activities: There's a mall nearby past a row of shops and restaurants. Lots of food options in the area. Warner Bros studio nearby. Good hotel if visiting Universal Studios or Hollywood Blvd or driving on Mullholland.
Safety: When we first approached the hotel, there was a man on the sidewalk in front of the hotel yelling profanity and making offensive gestures. Maybe it was "Welcome to L.A." in ECSL (East Coast Sign Language)? Anyway, he kept walking past the hotel and that was the last concerning thing i saw in Burbank that week. The parking garage was mostly quiet. It isnt gated but maybe that's bc the crime rate is too low to warrant that type of security? We had a seven year old with us but i felt safe enough to venture out with him by myself on foot to visit the restaurants just up the street from the hotel. We explored a bit...walking in different directions. It was very chill. Keep in mind, however, we were only there during the week. Perhaps it gets more lively on the weekends.

image Furniture in the rooms was worn and filthy. Sheets wouldn't stay on the bed. No extra sinks, no free water bottles, soap dispenser in shower was empty. No fun for the kids and this establishment is for "families". No place to get food. No place to go and relax with family. Complimentary breakfast was redundant. Burned myself while making waffles because I was too short to reach the black handles on the waffle maker. Reported incident to staff, they could care less. No incident report was made out. Bums can sleep right outside of the hotel, but there was no where to smoke a cigarette, you know...like a smoking pit! All in all, not a user friendly type of place. Big mistake booking rooms there, way too costly and way too boring. California sucks.

image Horrible, loud, and smelly. No secure parking, creepy basement parking. Paid $19 for it, which I wouldn't mind if it felt safe. SpringHill was literally awful

image Just stayed three nights. Overall it was decent. The morning breakfast was pretty straightforward. A decent variety of food. Wish they would have switched the items more often so every day was something a little different. The only do Waffles on the weekend, which is also a bit disappointing. The staff was very nice. The parking and the garage was OK but at one point was completely filled up. The elevators acted weird and would sometimes not take you to your floor. Several people made comments about the elevators doing that to them as well and when I notified the staff, they were already aware of it yet it appears nobody took any action to get it fixed. So, for example, if you were going to the fourth floor, it might take you there but not open the door and then come back down to the third floor due to somebody on that floor calling it. Kind of scary as we always hoped we would not get stuck in it. Hopefully theyll get that fixed. The pool area was decent. The only part that was not cool was the fact that the pool is supposed to be open from 8 AM to 10 PM however at 8 AM they start cleaning it so it technically doesnt open till 9 AM. I saw many frustrated people walk away with their bathing suits on in the 8 oclock hour. Either open the pool at 9 AM or schedule the cleaning at 7 AM so the pool can open timely. I thought that was pretty poor CustomerService as theres not too many amenities that they offer so when they do have one they should stick to the time frames given. Bring your own water as they charge six dollars if you open the bottle of water in the room.
