Called to ask cost of a family return (spouse & 2 kids) with a solar rebate but I already completed the 5695 form; was quoted $220 for Federal family return and $70 for CA return, agreed and made appointment for 6pm, provided all documents, was asked to come back after 30 minutes, I did. Tax consultant had switched the social secuirty numbers of my wife and I and could not fix it in the software. I sat there for 35 minutes while he went through tech support. He had to start the return over again, again asked for 35-45 minutes so we went to dinner. Came back and he proceeded with the old wrong return, I had to personally direct him in his own software to my "correct" return under "Needs Signature" filter. Proceeded to sign and was hit with $50 per child and $60 for Solar (which I already filled out the 5695 form). Essentially charging me $100 for filling out the child tax credit box and another $60 to copy my work already completed. I argued telling him I what I was quoted, that he delayed us 1.5 hours and charging a "Family Return" that does not include children!!!???!?! They gave me a $50 coupon and another for next year. In all I paid just under $400 for a return where I did 40% of the work, and provided on site software navigation in lieu of waiting another 35 minutes for him call tech support AGAIN. I will not return. I will not return.

Excellent Service! We have been with our tax preparer Veronica for almost 10 years. She has always taken care of us and has done a great job.
