Motel 6 Buellton, CA - Solvang Area

I was taken back by how gross this place was. First thing was the heavy smell of smoke in a non smoking room. The shower is covered in mold and the previous person's towel was still hanging on the shower along with hair in the shower.... Only amenity is a tiny soap bar. Dust everywhere and dirty floor I had to walk around with my shoes on. Not modern at all. Very loud heater right next to bed and thin walls made for lots of noisy activity outside and upstairs. I feel like I paid for a place worth a 3rd the cost at most. Bed was ok, I've been on worse. Overall not happy with my visit for the cost.

Emily at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Staff at the front desk are always willing to go the extra mile.

The room I stayed in was quite clean, and the woman at the front desk, Emily, was so helpful. She suggested great restaurants that are local, such as Ellens, and she was very friendly and welcoming at check in. She made me feel safe while staying there by myself, and because of her, I will be coming back to stay at this motel 6 when I am passing through and have to make a stop for the night. Thank you, Emily!! You were awesome.

This motel 6 is top notch Thomas was very helpful at check after my booking reservation didnt come in he gave me a good rate and Emily had the coffee ready for us in the morning even recommended us some things we could do in the area. Clean rooms great service and good prices for such a popular area. I will definitely stay again
