Was cheated on price. $200 for a good working car.  Those who are not Heavenbound have no morals and their outcome will not be good.  It will be a rude awakening.  Forever is a long time.   It's best to take your time and get several offers, in writing.  Remove what you need, especially if new.Make sure you get a receipt before giving them the keys. Have them sign and date with amt paid. Get their business card.  Go to DMV and have forms on hand for them to sign.

Cannot emphasize enough how great Alvin's was. I was trying to get rid of my junk car, and in the sea of other "buy your junk car" services that have Comcast-level terrible service, it could not have possibly been easier to work with Alvin. Sent over the information, he came by when he said he would, 100% smooth. Amazing.

Our car caught fire and burned up in dOakland. We tried to get Pick-a-Part to come and salvage the car, but they wouldnt tow from a city street unless it was a private address. I called AAA to tow the car, I pay a lot of money every year for towing service. They refused to take the car for no good reason. That was total bogus. Then fortunately, I called Alvins automotive Inc. Alvin was friendly and wanted to help right away, tho he was schlepping another car around. He arrived the following morning as planned and towed the car off the street to get salvaged. It occurred to him at the salvage yard, that I gave him the wrong pink slip, when they wouldnt except the car. I mailed him the right pink slip, as I was flying out the next morning. He had to tow the car all the way back to his yard in Brentwood and store it until the mail delivered the pink slip. I paid him extra, as it was my mess up. He took care of everything and today I got the pink slip for the other car back expedited mail. Im very appreciative for Alvins help and consideration.
