This business is very unprofessional and irrsponsible. At first, they couldn't find my documents I sent via certified mail at postal office, then they fillout the form with wrong infomation; in addition, they told me I didn't pay their service fees but actually they'd received my payment immediately; more riduculous was, on 2/4/2021, the receptionist said she would send me the recorded new documents to me within a week; however, till today 2/18/2018 I havn't received anything yet. I called them again today, the receptionist told me the new documents will be sent to me before the end of Feb., 2021, and she is sending the copies to my email momently. I have been waiting for the email since 10:30AM, but till 11:00 pm on 2/18/2021, nothing sent from the company. I strongly agree with the other customer's pointview, if I could I will give this businee a "zero star". Don't use the company.

I do not recommend this company at all. I contracted this company in September 2020 to record a grant deed and paid for expedited service. The grant deed was recorded today, 12/15/20. They also charged me an undisclosed fee of $25 and is refusing to refund this undisclosed fee. With respects to fees, the company provided me with a fee scheduled detailing the following: Service Fees: Our Service Fees vary by County and State and are in addition to County Recorder Recording Fees (which we won't know until after the document is recorded and the County provides us with the Recording Fees), Doc Taxes, State Taxes/fees or fees for any additional services being ordered. Additional Services (additional fees): RUSH: We generally submit your document for recording the following business day or two from when we receive your document. If you would like your documents recorded on a Rush basis there is an additional $25/doc fee. RUSH service can expedite your recording and means we prioritize your documents ahead of other same county documents we receive, however, once they are submitted to the county we cannot expedite their process. My order was not rushed. In fact, I asked them to submit the file on 10/23 and the file was not submitted until 11/4/20. These days are incredibly costly and critical in recording a deed. This company not only charged me a $25 fee that was not disclosed, they also held off on performing a service in a timely manner. And they NEVER respond to emails and no one can ever assist with any questions or concerns. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

After trying to use the service in place of closed County Recording office, I was charged first to use the service, then upload the document. First the status was never shown in the online account dashboard, second the other pending orders disappeared. So there is nothing on the dashboard. All I get from emailing them to ask question or status is automated reply. Calls were unanswered without any live person. This is a very unprofessional business to have no reply, no status, and no service! So what happened? I smell fraudulent activity and called credit card company to file a dispute. I also request RMD to close the account and cancel all pending orders as well as credit card information. And what can I do? I will send the document to be recorded directly to the County's Recorder's Office by snail mail to get things done. If that's the only way to do it. RMD is taking advantage of the Covid-19 and scamming clients with super high fees! Besides, from the current reviews I see, RMD is mostly likely a scam. DON'T USE IT!

RecordMyDocs.com was fantastic. They answered my phone questions clearly and sent me an agreement via email. It was a very simple one page agreement with clear instructions. I overnight mailed the documents which they received and processed within 2 days. After 8 days, I received an invoice from them indicating that the documents had been recorded. Wow! I checked the County Recorder's website and my documents were indeed recorded. Not only were they prompt and efficient, they only required payment once the documents were recorded. And their fees were extremely reasonable. Update 3/15/21: I don't understand the complaints on the other reviews. The contract clearly states that the client is responsible for submitting correctly prepared documents. They also state that they have no control once the documents are in the hands of the county recorders office. In my case, I filed with the San Diego County Recorder via Recordmydocs.com . I had no issues mentioned in the other reviews.

If I could give this company a 0 star I would. My husband and I had a warranty deed transfer done on a time share over 3 years ago. All signatures done. All fees paid. We were told there was nothing else. Now the collection company for the time share is coming after us and during Covid19 when we dont have money! All because these people did NOT put a Folio # on the document. Im sorry but that is not our job to know what they should be providing when completing a document the correct way. They are now telling us we have to get new signatures and pay them again! They are a fraud. We are consulting an attorney at this point for the time wasted and stress for this. Do not use this company.
