I was going to scan my barcode that said I got a reward and wanted to redeem it and the girl behind the counter exited out the screen while I was obviously using it. I told her..She said its for next time only. She had a very rude attitude. This was around 5 pm 12/9/2023.why put a tip option? No one is even ringing me up

This is a review I'm really unhappy to write. I used to take my kids to the Tapioca Express in East Lake a couple times/week after school until it closed down. The place was great, people friendly, service excellent and the drinks and food great. good times. Today I was in Plaza Bonita with my daughter and we drove by this TE on the way home. Of course we stopped. Couldn't NOT stop. Imagine the shock when we entered to find you don't actually place an order with a human. You need to hunt and peck through a screen they have setup. It was frustrating to get just the tea entered. turns out it was under "flavored teas". I had three more drinks to go + 4 food bowls. It was just too complicated. And so we left w/out ordering. Sad. It used to be such a great experience.
