Millpond Recreation Area

There are signs everywhere saying no dogs allowed. Not even on a leash. This park is dead to me. It seems ridiculous to not allow dogs at all in this giant remote park.

Milpond is very nice, with lots of tables, a pond with fish, grass and very clean. Only recently did I stop there after years of passing it up. Check it out. No dogs allowed.

Used to love Mill pond but theyve banned dogs not on leash.. no dogs allowed at all. Absolutely ridiculous for a giant hardly used park to not allow dogs!!! We pay our taxes to this community and pay for ITs upkeep and yet I cant respectfully enjoy the best park in the Valley. Absolutely asinine.

Update: They have now banned dogs from the park altogether. You cant even walk them in the park. A park that I have yet to see busy and that is large enough that there is plenty of room for everyone. We literally stopped in Bishop, stayed there, and spent money in the town because we loved this park so much. I will take my money somewhere else. Why would you pay all this money to keep up this beautiful oasis that no one uses and limit the people who would want to use it? Dog-friendliness: There is none. They have banned dogs altogether. Who bans on leash dogs from parks? What's next? Children? Yeah! Let's ban children even though there are playgrounds! Too loud and annoying! It could ruin the atmosphere!

No dogs allowed in park so couldn't see it. Looks nice but we're traveling with our dog.
