Motel 6 Bishop, CA

Im 20 year combat veteran.. but most importantly is our son is disabled with MS. After making a reservation for a disabled accessible room and taking our money we recieved a call from motel 6 Bishop CA. We where told we where not welcome on the property and to call the manager Melissa Humble.. After calling her. All she said is we aren't welcome at motel 6 and she hung up. We called back and very rudely she stated that I quit without notice and hung up. We called back trying to tell her we've never worked for motel 6. ( Im a 20 year Army Vet) She rudely said dont call back Ill consider it harassment. I'd rather go back to Iraq or Somalia then Stay at the Bishop motel 6.. or any other Motel 6 for that matter. Corporate has been notified.. Melissa Humble needs a new job. Anything with Hospitality is definitely above her limited abilities.

Stayed here for a weekend. The room was dirty, old hair from previous people on the floor. My room did not receive service once over 4 days, even after asking the front office. The toilet constantly squeaked if another room flushed or used the water until you flushed it yourself. Old Tv with cables that hardly worked. Just a really poor experience even for the money. Youre better off at the best western next door. Walkable to things in town but thats the only upside.

Great place to stay. I Will definitely be back many times. Many restaurants of all levels are very close by, plenty of parking, felt safe at all times. Room has been recently redone and the housekeeping was exceptional. All staff were friendly and well informed.

Stayed there for 2 nights Front desk was very welcoming New management seems like they know what they are doing Way different from the last time I stayed here Maybe new owner idk but they deserve the 5 stars Ill definitely come back with my family
