They promised me an appt last Monday and had me wait at home for four hours. They cancelled the appointment without telling and resched for 2 weeks later!!

Do NOT go with Optimum, another review below used the word "criminal" because they are genuinely horrible, will definitely use illegal tactics to take your money and know its a very difficult process to hold them accountable. They are rude and shameless and only care about taking your money by any means necessary. I was a customer for 17 years,after switching to another far better provider they began to bully me, claim I had their property, tried to charge me with other completely phony and outrageous charges etc. Do not go down a dead end road with this absolutely horrible company. They are genuinely the worst.

By far the worst service of all time. Constantly paying for 100 meg internet but only getting 10 megs. Their techs actually refuse to do their job even when the office wrote them a ticket for it and then they just tell us they don't want to come to the house. The call centers are no help and just yell at you if you tell them that nothing they did helped. Guess I have to file a complaint with better business bureau and the FCC for charging us for services they can't provide. Optimum are criminals and they do this because they know they're the only ones in town. Don't even bother responding with your generic copy and paste apology Optimum because I know you never mean it
