White August Photography

Bryan and his team were awesome photographers and made our wedding day so special. Bryan did our engagement photos and I loved working with him as he made my husband and i feel so comfortable.  A couple days before our wedding, Bryan unfortunately caught covid but his team mates Jay and Tim were able to photograph our wedding. Jay and Tim were also amazing and I totally trusted them and their experience in photography.  Adding some pictures, but they caught awesome details and every time I look at the photos I tend to cry because my wedding was a dream, and their photography totally captured the love and happiness

I got married about 3 weeks ago but I have been eager to write this review for Jay and Tim of White August. I was very impressed by their attention to detail, their artistry, and how pleasant they were to work with. They were extremely patient and they listened to what we wanted. But based on the shots I saw, I trusted them to take wonderful photos. We don't have the photos yet, but I am excited to see them. It was amazing to work with them and I will be recommending them to  friends/family in the future. thank you so much!

I booked Bryan back in August of 2019 for our wedding scheduled for September 2020. I paid the first non-refundable deposit. However, I realized later that I really wanted a film photographer as I researched more into weddings. I didn't know what film photography was at the time, nor any type of photography for that matter. At the time, I was scared of not booking someone right away because a lot of vendors were getting booked. His photos are amazing and great, but as I was researching wedding photos, I couldn't stop thinking about not having a film photographer for our wedding. I wanted a different style of photos. I emailed Bryan in October of 2019 to let him know that I no longer wanted him as a wedding photographer, and asked for, at least, a partial deposit back since there was still some time left. He stated in his email, "Most of our 2020's weddings are booked this year and we are booking only one wedding a day. We've missed a couple of inquiries for weddings on 9/5/20." I mean, I understand that September is a popular date, but I'm sure he would have filled the spot for 9/5. He pretty much didn't give me the deposit back for work he didn't do. Not even a partial deposit. Please, future brides, know what you want for your wedding ahead of time. I understand that I made my own mistake on my part, but I just wish that Bryan was more understanding on this matter. I understand canceling 3-6 months ahead of time. Sure! take my deposit. But this was 10-11 months of time left prior to our scheduled wedding date. :/

Bryan is such a great photographer! He will make you look pretty in all of the pictures. There were so many unexpected things that I did not like on my wedding day but Bryan made it look like a perfect day with all the great photos he took :)  The album and the canvas we got after our wedding are lovely! Thank you Bryan!

Bryan is the best! He was our photographer for both our engagement shoot and wedding!! Bryan is very easy to work with and makes you feel very comfortable. He shows you how to pose and smile so you don't look awkward  ! He is very detail oriented and a perfectionist. We are still obsessed with our photos and look back at them every time. You will not regret choosing Bryan as your photographer!
