My fibroids and the symptoms that came along with them were horrible. I would lose so much blood, the pain, the discomfort, I had become chronically anemic. I was given the option of hysterectomy only- by many OBGYNs. I refused, and I wanted and looked for an alternative solution.i did not want to be operated on nor to go through such a drastic option. With Dr. Lalezarian, procedure was less than an hour, was home after the procedure and back to work after a week. This procedure changed my life. No pain, no heavy bleeding, no discomfort, my iron deficiency has replenished, no down time, and minimally invasive procedure.if you don't want surgery and a simple approach fibroid embolization, Dr. Lalezarian and his amazing assistant Jennifer is all you need.

Dr. Michael Lalezarian is Amazing He did my Procedure for Fibroids Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE),and my symptoms have improved tremendously. Literally one month after the procedure and I saw a big difference in my periods, being fatigue, I lost weight. Overall I recommend this place and this Doctor to everyone the staff was amazing as well they were great. Remember ladies you dont have to get hysterectomy or myomectomy there is other procedures that can help you with your Fibroids and you dont have to get cut open. My procedure was fast and efficient. Please see Dr Michael Lalezarian he most definitely will be able to help he did it for me.

I am usually private about my health issues but this situation is an exception for me so I want to share so I can encourage other women. I had a 12 inch fibroid inside and outside of my uterus and I was told to have a partial hysterectomy by a frantic OBGYN. I didnt want to undergo something so serious so I opted for embolism of the blood vessels that feed the fibroid, I was very nervous of the size prior to procedure and the major discomfort I was in. The procedure was quick, and almost no discomfort, the days following were as to be expectedits now two weeks later and my bulge in my belly is going down, my body is calming down, fibroid is shrinking to the touch and I can resume normal exercise. I was able to travel a week from the procedure for a weekend. I am still a bit sore but nothing like if I got a hysterectomy! It is going way better than I anticipated, the doctors and nurses were professional and nice and I highly recommend this procedure to anyone who is on the fence. You will be so glad you did this. I encourage you.

I was diagnosed with fibroids by my gynecologist. I was told that I should get a hysterectomy because the fibroids were making me bleed a lot. I wasn't able to exercise, hike, swim, or do any of the activities that I used to do. However, I didn't want to get such an invasive surgery done. I did some research and found out about uterine fibroid embolization. I called Dr. Lalezarian's office to make an appointment for evaluation. I was happy to hear that I was the perfect candidate for this procedure. Honestly, I was a little skeptical at first because everyone told me that the only way to get rid of fibroids was either directly removing them, or getting a hysterectomy. I had too many fibroids so I couldn't have them removed, and again, I did not want to get a hysterectomy done. I am so glad that I chose UFE! This procedure worked like a charm! No painful surgery, one week of downtime, and I have no heavy and prolonged cycles anymore. I feel energetic and am able to live a normal life doing the activities that I love! Thank you Dr. Lalezarian, for giving my life back to me again!

So far, so good! Dr. Lalezarian is a gem of a doctor, and I am glad I found him. My journey with fibroids was one that has been long. When initially diagnosed with fibroids, I experienced fear-mongering by my former OBGYN when inquiring about UFE as an option. I was told horrendous things and only offered the options of a hysterectomy or myomectomy. (The two procedures OBGYNs typically perform; yay for more money in the pocket!) And then, the Pandemic happened two days before my scheduled hysterectomy. I canceled. That's when my research begins for non-invasive options. Over two years and a lot of money spent on appointments with potential new, fancy OBGYNs, I found Dr. Lalezarian. After a brief phone consultation, I later scheduled my procedure with his dedicated assistant, Jennifer. On the day of my appointment, my procedure took less than an hour, and the downtime was minimal! I am a month and some days post-procedure and feeling great thus far. My first cycle was like night and day, so hopefully, this continues! I'm starting to see a difference in my stomach and I don't constantly have to pee! If you are dealing with fibroids and don't want the trauma of an open surgery -- I would highly recommend Dr. Lalezarian as your first line of attack.

Thank you for sharing your story, Oriah. It's extremely common for women to be recommended hysterectomy or another form of invasive fibroid surgery immediately after their diagnosis. We're glad that you found an alternative with us at ProFibroidMD, and that you were able to find relief with a significantly less invasive treatment. This review will certainly help other women that are in a similar situation. Thank you for your recommendation!
