I was looking at my former review, all I can say I am still taking French from Madame R.  The only reason I am not fluent after 6 years is me.  She is wonderful if you do what she says you will learn.  This past year I have been  disciplined and it is amazing how well I have done. Do what she says and you WILL learn.Over the years she has become more than my professor she is my friend.  Still use VOUS instead of TU though.

Madame Rasmussen is amazing! I needed to learn French for an acting roll that was shooting abroad and Madame got me speaking like a native with an intense 60 hour program. I was super focused and really enjoyed her holistic approach which included classical music that tickled my subconscious mind. I was a big hit once I landed and started to put my new found ability to use. I received many compliments from the natives, especially on my pronunciation which something Madame works on more then stressing grammar. Headed back soon to Super-Learners for a Spanish upload to the brain like the Matrix. Madame Rasmussen is a pro!

Madame Cecilia Rasmussen  is an excellent teacher. I have been studying French with her for the past couple of years and I am finally becoming comfortable with the language. She is dedicated and passionate plus her methods work.

I have been meaning to write this review for some time now as I took Private French lessons with Madame Rasmussen over a year ago.  I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life.  Madame Rasmussen is so engaging and fun to be around.  She has loads of energy and a wonderful presence.  Her lessons are interspersed with anecdotes, and she shares a lot of lifestyle information; this is by no means text-book learning.  I loved listening to her CDs and found the holistic approach so much easier to grasp.  As other reviewers have noted, she will take care to review any points you are struggling with, until you can get them right.  I learned more of the French language with her in 4 lessons than I had in 2 years of college training.  Unfortunately, my job took me away from the LA area, but I look forward to the day when I can resume lessons with Madame Rasmussen again!
