My (soon to be) ex husband and I were clients for 15+ years. During the midst of my divorce, I was contacted by agent Cassandra to notify me I would have to re-insure my car because of a new address. I explained I was transitioning to a new place and still between the family home and a rental. I missed a few of her calls but we spoke twice by phone. She then sent me a new quote and in the span of 9 days (6 business days) went from sending the quote to cancelling my policy. I was traveling for work for 5 of the 9 days and was not keeping up with personal email. What if I had fallen ill or simply not available for 6 business days ?!
After landing at the airport from my trip, and driving my car for the weekend to take my kids around, I found out I was uninsured because the agency unilaterally cancelled my policy. UTTERLY rude, impatient, unprofessional. The SVP of the agency then emailed me a terse note explaining all the ways I was wrong. Never an apology and placing all the blame on me.

Ive been carrying business insurance policies (liability, workers compensation, rented equipment, and umbrella) through Jules Berlin for 5+ years, and over that time have had to make a few claims. I choose my agents because they give good advice and back me up in the claims process. Jules Berlin does both.
