Planning a wedding during covid has been a rough roller coaster but we absolutely loved having Jen on this crazy 2 year journey with us. She was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. She captured all the moments that were meaningful to us and now we have them forever! Jen, thank you so much for being the most amazing photographer that we could have ever asked for. We love the photos and cant wait to share them with our loved ones.

I am beyond happy with our elopement photos that she took! I knew we were going to have great pictures when I looked at her portfolio and saw the reviews here, but I have to say my expectations have been exceeded. Not only does Jen do a great job with the technical aspects of photography, but she was fantastic at getting us to relax and look natural in the photos. We were traveling from out of town, so we were unable to do an engagement session before the wedding. Neither of us have ever really had professional photos taken and I was a little nervous we were going to look awkward or fake since were are not used to being photographed. But Jen's personality and expertise made it actually really fun and easy to do photos - we were able to relax easily and our smiles in the photos are genuine! She has great ideas for how to move and how to pose, and has a good eye for which locations will make for the best photos. She's also fun - it felt like we were hanging out with a friend rather than doing a formal photo shoot. I think this not only made a great memory by making our session/ceremony fun, but also really made our photos turn out great because we were able to just be ourselves and enjoy what we were doing. I could continue raving about Jen, but to sum it up - I feel very lucky to have found her and chosen her to capture our special day. Her price was reasonable and she was super easy to work with (and was kind and understanding when we were running late the day of, which was also so appreciated!). We had a great experience throughout and most importantly, have amazing photos that I can't stop looking at! If you decide to use her as your wedding photographer, you will NOT be disappointed.

Jen is a wonderful human being who also happens to be really great at photography! During our wedding, she hit that sweet spot between being professional and easy-going. The photographs she took for us are beautiful, candid, intimate, and not at all like 90 percent of wedding photography online that makes people look like Tommy Hilfiger models and not, you know... people! So, yeah, I would recommend Jen wholeheartedly and without reservation for anyone who wants to have good looking, sweet photographs of their wedding!

First and foremost, Jen defines dedication while being exceptionally good at her craft. She spent her birthday with us for our elopement. The whole time she was cheerful, friendly yet focused. We love the photos and have heard wonderful praises about them when we shared them with family and friends. While picking a photographer, we both had separate lists. Not to our surprise, J Wiley Photography was both of our first choices. I appreciate that her photos don't just capture wedding couples but also the world around them. The photos tell a story in an artistic way and there is a feel to her photos that you don't get with most others. Jen did a wonderful job despite all odds being against her. The weather being finger numbing-ly cold (I was impressed she could hold onto her camera, not to mention change lenses and tweak all the buttons), quickly fading sunlight, a hike into the park and the list goes on. Against all odds, the photos came out beautifully, capturing aspects of us that we don't think has ever been documented that way before. Jen understood the spirit of our elopement. Having her and Rachel (her friend assistant) with us on our day was a lovely experience. We are now on the lookout for reasons to get pictures taken again by Jen. Shannon & Susie
