Our experience working with Deduction Detectives has been exceptional. Jake can handle simple filings to more complicated financial, investment and tax scenarios. I have worked with other tax professionals before. There is a level of trust and hand-holding required, and Deduction Detectives will provide that.

My husband and I were working with another CPA who was referred to us when we moved here from overseas in 2016.  That CPA succeeded in getting us audited for all three years we lived overseas.Jake stepped in and after nearly 2.5 years of dealing with the IRS, we just finalized our audit with a small check from the IRS to us.  We are very happy to finish up this very difficult and trying process.  Jake did a great job communicating on our behalf and helping us navigate throughout.I am giving four stars rather than five as there were times it was difficult to get Jake's attention and responses, he was very helpful when he was focused on our case.  We are very grateful for Jake's assistance.

Update: beware that Jake is not a certified public accountant. He may be an agent of the IRS but he has not gotten nor should be confused with being a certified public accountant in California.
