Annie Wright is a professional who I am continuously humbled by. Her blend of expansive wisdom, clinical expertise and sheer kindness is transparent in her interactions, both online and at her practice.
As a clinical leader and therapy owner of Evergreen Counseling, Annie leads with both humility and directness. She takes a definitive stance in ensuring that her staff are tended to with support, while ensuring that all the clients who receive therapy services are met with professionalism, top level therapy skill and with a warm energy.
True leadership is when the expert works alongside their staff and guides with mindful teaching moments.
As a fellow trauma therapist, Annie has been someone who I have respected from the very first time I've gotten to see her work. In her writings, and interactions, she conveys a feeling of humanity and relatability, which is rare in the field of counseling. It is obvious (and inspiring) to see Annie's fierce devotion to normalizing struggle, and to providing tools and skills to all humans around the world- especially to those who are needing support and relief.
Her compassion, passion and unending desire to keep expanding her (already impressive) professional skills and sharing latest therapeutic interventions with her clients and her team- are visible to all who are lucky to know her.

I had the gift of an opportunity to work with Annie as an EMDR clinician at Evergreen. She is by far and away the best boss I've ever had! Annie is such an intelligent, skilled, and warm clinician and just a wonderful human being. Annie has such a wealth of knowledge and experience to share in helping folks who have experienced trauma. She really pursues excellence in her practice and it shows. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with and learn from her.

Disappointing experience with Annie. I contacted Annie based on the positive reviews but my interactions with her showed that she was a cold and unapproachable therapist. She upsells and overcharges, and her fees seem to go more towards marketing than her actual practice. She spent a lot of time talking about how great of a saleswoman she is. It appears that she cares more about running her business and exploiting her patients to make money than helping her patients.If you're in search of a therapist, you're much better off looking for a more affordable and less money-hungry practitioner who genuinely cares about their patients. There are many of them in the Bay Area and with some effort you'll find one. Good luck.

I am currently on the search for a therapist and Annie was extremely supportive on my journey. She was available, curious, and supportive. While I'm not a client, I was taken aback by her consistent communication with me as I navigated dealing with my insurance. I would highly recommend her services.
