really great and fun place to see compelling artwork. knowledgeable staff. if i had a kid, i would name it totally rad gallery.

Totally Rad Gallery really does live up to it's name. I've been a close friend to the owner, Amber for many years and I've watched her build this gallery from nothing to an absolutely special and cool gem. Her taste and choice in exhibiting artists never cease to amaze and push boundaries with such little space. The work of Totally Rad's exhibitions of various types and mediums, like paintings or installations, and the content/vibe of them have always been strong, genuine, unique, diverse, inclusive and inviting. The quality of the exhibitions consistently push me to expand my understanding and open my mind to learn more about art and the concept of it from many different perspectives. This gallery also supports other artists' works by selling their zines, and other small original works, as well as putting on occasional experimental music/sound/film showcases (which if you're lucky to catch, are really awesome). Open hours can be tricky because they vary from week to week, but I highly recommend following TRG on Facebook and Instagram where they consistently post their hours on a daily/weekly basis.
