I have used Ted and his crew on a number of jobs over the years, he is terrific! He is professional, experienced and always does a great job leaving things clean and tidy. He takes care of every detail and is always easy to communicate with. I will always call Ted first on any contractor job both big and small with confidence.

We needed the repair/remodel of the shower tile surround, fixtures, insulation, and waterproofing  above a bathtub. Ted and his crew promptly came over and evaluated the situation and shared with me thoughts on various solutions. I then obtained 3 bids. Ted's bid was in the middle. His price was fair and his workmanship exceptional! His crew was neat, and the work space was tidy at the end of each day. Along the way, any concern or question I had was promptly addressed. Without hesitation I strongly recommend Ted Wray. I also want to give a shoutout to London Tile who Ted recommended for the tile installation; they did impeccable work. Ceramic Tile Design in San Rafael was extremely helpful in tile selection. Thank you Ted for not just repairing but for leveling up our bathroom!!

Being a first time home buyer, I wanted a contractor that I could trust and depend on. I got Ted's name from a good friend who also raved about him. Ted took the time to come over to my soon to be new house and did a house inspection with me. Boy was I glad I did, I was able to negotiate the price down by 5K. I was so pleased that I first hired Ted and his crew to do minor things like install a ceiling fan, closed lights and a medicine cabinet. I wanted to test the waters so to speak....They did a superb job! Yes, we ran into some minor problems but they were able to fix it all, with no drama....the attention to details was amazing....when the guys put in the medicine cabinet, they made sure to cover the sink drain pipe so debris wouldn't fall in and clog the pipes. I was so pleased that when I had to install bollards in the driveway (that PG&E was requiring) in order to change out the main electrical panel, I did not hesitate to call Ted and his crew. I was so happy that they would be able to do the job even though it had nothing to do with remodeling. His crew was great, on time, clean, and on budget. Since I've had them put in a French drain in front of the driveway and some redwood stairs off the back porch. Every time, it's been easy, quick, clean and no hassle. I tell Ted what I would like, we talk about design and how I want it to look and off we go! His crew is also very helpful and wants to do a good job. Once in the field, things don't go as planned....when we were doing the stairs, there was an underground conduit so the post couldn't be placed where we originally thought, Mike didn't hesitate to give me options so I would be happy and pleased! I couldn't recommend them enough. Ted is very knowledgeable and helpful. A great person to know when owning a home! *This review was taken down by Yelp for an unknown reason so we posted it here*

Horrible. He hired a few people who had no professional experience (he later admitted this), and was never on the site to oversee their work. I would have to stay every morning before work to go over things and found major errors in simply reading the plans, which the crew were unable to do. The job ran over by almost double time. The crew would suggest changes and then when I said, 'sure, if that is easier for you' he would end up charging me for them. My structural engineer was livid on visiting the site because the crew had blatantly ignored structural guidelines because they "thought they weren't necessary". Rarely admitted having made a mistake and would not correct those mistakes if they amounted to work on his part. Basically, this guy doesn't really care about his work, he is simply trying to turnover as many projects as he can to increase profit.
