    I had been looking for a new apartment to move to because my apartment complex at the time had poor management and a few other things wrong that I just couldnt deal with. Upon finding Villa La Paz, my first encounter was with Michael and it was a pleasant, courteous and professional experience. I was finally able to get in and now I am a current resident. My experience has been great! Positive and friendly staff, never rude, upkeep of the complex is always up to part. A good place to reside most definitely!

    I lived there for a year by myself and had very few issues until I moved out. I never wore my shoes in the apt., and never spilled anything or even ate in the carpeted area and yet they charged me for carpet cleaning. I put no pictures on the walls and not so much as put a mark on them and was charged $135 for touch up paint. Truthfully the apartment was in better shape than when I moved in because i took out all of the old tv antenna wires that were laying all over that were obsolete. I had been paying 1575 for a unit that allegedly had upgraded cabinets just to find out that they were the same cabinets that my niece and her husband had 8 years prier to me. Not the $50 a month upgrade. The stove is the biggest excuse for a stove I have ever used and never worked properly. I was never late with my rent and yet my whole security deposite was taken. They even went as far as sending me a bill for $15. Very unprofessional and petty I think..

    Bad business practices I lived here for a year, paid my rent on time. No major issues, the trash is usually overflowing, but its a huge place and that also has to do with tenants. Vic and Mike are great, theyll usually resolve any issues you have. Be aware of Debra Rigor though, I think shes the manager, this lady is extremely rude and disrespectful. Her condescending attitude is palpable. When I first turned in my 30 days notice, she literally raised her voice and said we needed to give at least 30 days notice; we were giving 2 months. Lovely Debra didnt know what month we were on, when she finally noticed she laughed it off. Now, almost a year later Im being charged the better part of $2000 due to the condition of the apartment and how it was left. Okay, if there were issues let me know, I pay my debts, but dont disrespect me and send me to collection without any notice. Oh yes, lovely Debra and her staffed failed to write down my new apartment number on the snail mail they sent, both of her staff members confirm that the mistake was made. When I noticed lovely Debra about this, she said she would do me the courtesy of emailing me the info, again, almost a year later after she sent this to collection. When I asked for the phone number she called she said she didnt have the time to get that for me, she did eventually. When called her on the condescending attitude she said I could call back when I was ready to deal with it. Finally, I took pictures of the apartment and how I left which Im adding here. Where is this damage that Im being charged for? My credit is being affected by this. What kind of business is this? I dont recommend dealing with these individuals.
