BEWARE YOU Might get really screwed here! In short: I bought a 2019 ram promaster. Dream came true! Clean van looked good under the hood 97k miles. Not bad at all! Price was decent. I took it to Firestone to do quick check (eye inspection). No leaks just an axle needed change. They wouldnt lower the price but I was like ok, Ive been looking for a van for a while. Took it home. I was happy as it gets! Since I was pre-approved with a credit union there winded up to be an annoying hiccup and had to wait a week to finalize the deal. I couldnt wait for that babe to be mine! It did wind up having a blinker out occasionally and a battery lights on. I thought there probably was a loose wire, so I didnt worry about it. All check out ok in the end!! I made appointment to change the axle and check wiring and battery (thankfully two weeks wait), but I couldnt wait and started putting the insulation in (I work with dogs so need to keep cool), spent whole weekend on it and $200 insulation. Bought a new rubber floor (thank heaven I was able to return it. Finally yesterday credit union called and told me I could stop by to sign final papers! Yay! And OOPS on the way there, CHECK ENGINE light came on. I checked the codes with a mechanic and it turned up to be catalytic converter the cost to fix is 3-5k!!!! This van was checked out as it passed smog check?!!! I wonder how!??? When I called them they told me I had buyers remorse! The nerve! They charged me 1030$ to return it! Take your hard earned money some place else! The response they submitted to my review is a lie. I was never offered to have it fixed.
