    Great customer service, I was helped by a young girl named Lex this past weekend she was very nice and informative helped me find my pair of Birkenstocks! If you go here find Lex shes the best!!

    I had an online order sent to the store. I went to pick them up today only to have a rude employee tell me the only hold them 5 days. Told him they were ordered 12/15 and were suppose to be at the store 12/21. He told me not their problem. The shoes I needed were size 13. Brought out a 12 and 14!! Really!?? Proceeded to try to find them anywhere else in town. Finally called Journeys 800 number and customer service said they were delivered to the store 12/21. They called the store and called me back to let me know they talked to the manager at the mall and they are there!! They gave me the managers name. Went back out to the mall and asked for the manager by name and guess who the manager was? The same one that told me they werent there and they were sent back. He was actually the District Manager!! He tried telling me they just came in. I asked him please not to lie to me. He went and got the shoes didnt apologize. Nothing. I told him he cost me two more hours running around trying to find the shoes in Bakersfield No one has it in the right size. He just looked at me like somehow it was my fault. I asked him youre not even going to apologize? He again looked at me and sarcastically said sorry have a good day. I will never again shop at this journeys, no matter what I need. Somebody needs to make this right. The time, the gas, the agony of stressing over a Christmas gift not being here, and having to fight the traffic and people at the mall twice for no good reason. I will also be contacting the corporate office to make sure they understand this district manager should not be training people or managing people, until he is properly trained himself. The way I was treated today, is not how you treat the customer whether you think youre right or not

    This instore shopping experience was by far the most exhausting I've ever had. I felt instantly suffocated and harassed by associates. They were trying to sell and suggest shoes to me before even asking what i was looking for. I couldn't even try on one pair of shoes without being bombarded with the amount of things they trying to get me to buy. Even when I was checking out and paying, another associate came up to me to try to sell me more! This wasn't tasteful helpfulness or upsaling tactics, this was suffocation. Even if you kindly decline buying the bundles of socks or shirts they are shoving in your face, they will continue to talk over you until their sales pitch is over..and then try to move onto the next item they can try to sell you. I feel like these kids are just trying to do their job and do what they are told to do and what to sell. With all the associates acting like this, it's apparent the orders to behave like this are coming from management. Worst experience I've ever had. Even my boyfriend was appalled and exhausted by this experience, even though he wasnt a customer.
