ADT Security Services

Biggest mistake of our life to choose ADT. We got their system because we wanted PEACE in our lives after the burglary in our house. ADT has made our lives even harder. Their system turns off out of no where, cameras die all of a sudden. We were never told these cameras are supposed to be charged once every 2-3 weeks. There was a false alarm, police showed up and charged us $135 fee for false alarm. Imagine, their system messed up and WE have to pay $135 to Bakersfield police. Now, there system is down for the past two days and we dont know what to do. Thank God, we have Ring Cameras. Were at the verge of filing a law suit against ADT. DO NOT ever go with them, you will end up making your life nothing but difficult.

They make unauthorized charges to my bank. They are quick to get you into contract but once in they are not helpful to there customers. Call wait times are long and they may hang up without notice after waiting for several minutes to speak to someone.

Got hung up on and didn't receive a call back mind you I wouldn't be so mad if I wasn't on the phone for a hour

30 days notice of cancellation, really? Sign up within 2 hrs, but take 30 days to cancel the service!!! ADT remotely discontinue the service, how come it take 30 days to do so? Other utility services will take only couple days or even couple hours to cancel your subscription. Or is this how ADT got every penny from the customer? Stay away. There're bunch of security services with no binding contract and more fair to the customer. Thank you for 2 and half year service. But no more.

ADT is expensive. I would shop around if you're looking for home security there are others that offer the same quality for less.
