I love Dr. Bacon. He is knowledgeable with a great bed side manner. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I have had no problems with this facility in seven years.

They refused to see me since I refused the series of covid shots. The office staff was unprofessional and actually told me not to call back for an appt or I would wait longer than 6 months. A year later I had two 5 minute appointments I was diagnosed with autoimmune however never given a follow up appt after my diagnosis. Now my primary is sending me back due to complications & we have to go for my daughter. I'm seriously concerned. You'd think his 5 year probation period from 2019 would've improved his staff and his communication.

Please do yourself a favor & read his reviews. Be cautious before entering his office. Believe everything negative about him. Also he is on probation until 2025, you would think he would offer better treatment because of his current status. I had an appointment with him yesterday for a follow up & because I was feeling ill I asked about an approved therapeutic injection that was ordered a Methlypredisolone Acetate . This particular authorization came via mail dated June 9, 2023 from his office. He proceeded to tell me that it was a mistake & that order was supposed to be for someone else, & further told me that the insurance placed that order. As a retired RN I know that insurance companies only approve or deny anything that a doctor orders. I called my insurance company this morning & they confirmed that he lied about the claim he made yesterday indicating that the insurance company placed that order they confirmed that they can only approve or deny a treatment that a doctor orders. I would give him zero stars. I asked him a lot of questions about my health that he could not answer & practically ran out of the room when confronted about my current health status. Addendum from 8/22/2023 I knew Dr. Bacon had the incorrect diagnosis I went to the endocrinologist he referred me to Dr. Duggal today who confirmed I do not have Hashimoto Thyroiditis. He wrote that in as a diagnosis which is not correct, she added the my thyroid is functioning beautifully . Gaslighting at its best is what he does. another addendum: when I was his patient I had mentioned to him not once but twice that the lip lesions I was getting in frequency were a concern to me. He chose to ignore my concern & instead chose to be dismissive, so I had to go to my PCP to ask for a referral for a Lip biopsy to be done. Last time I seen him was June so here I am 5 months later with pre cancerous lip lesions. He made me feel as though I was wasting his time when in reality he was wasting my time So here I am 12 months to the date I initially seen him & every single time all he did was be dismissive with a diagnosis. I had biopsies done on February 20th by a dermatologist & now as of March 6th I now have a diagnosis of Discoid Lupus, I knew I was right all alongoh but he was so sure I didnt have itso now there are 3 incorrect diagnosis.

You don't want to go there. The front office is trash. My daughter has tried to contact them for nearly 3 weeks. She asked me to be on the phone when they answered on her third or fourth time calling. We got through and the front counter woman,( didn't get her name) My daughters was asking about scheduling an appt because she was told 2 weeks ago by another receptionist, that her referral was there but they would call her back. This particular receptionist said they had not received one. Mind you, my daughter had just called her Dr's office prior to the call, to have them fax over a third referral. She started being condescending. It made me angry. As of today, my daughter's Dr's office called and said they are having trouble getting through to them to make an appt. Thus is a shame. We're done now. May have to go out of town now, since there are only 2 RA's in Bakersfield. Both have low reviews. I will call the medical board about a complaint. These people don't care about you. Just collecting your insurance payments. Dr Bacon must be a part of the problem as well. I hope people with stop dealing with yhem. All their going to be prescribed meds, even when uou really don't need them. Take heed. At this point my daughter doesn't want yo go to them
