Detainer Defense

Delay, delay, delay! They delayed my eviction long enough for us to find a new home.

First, I have to confess that I created an account just to leave this review. Read on and you will understand why. No one wants to be evicted. No one wants an unlawful detainer on their record. It is a mark of shame. My landlord refused to fix anything. The property was in horrible condition when we moved in, but we trusted that he would fix things like he promised. Instead, he raised our rent and threatened us with eviction if we would not sign a new contract agreeing to the rent increase. We did not agree, and he filed an unlawful detainer. Detainer Defense came to the rescue. They prepared the papers that got the case dismissed, so it did not go on our records. The landlord filed the eviction a second time. Detainer Defense slowed down the process and kept us in the house for several months. I believe they could have kept us in the house for many more months, but we found another place,so the second unlawful detainer was also dismissed. BUT WAIT, THERES MORE! Detainer Defense introduced us to a private investigator who went to the house,took pictures and wrote a report. Detainer Defense introduced us to an attorney who sues bad landlords. The case didnt even make it to trial. We got enough money to comfortably relocate, pay off a few bills, and have a little extra in the bank.Thank God for Detainer Defense!
