Gene Hughes DDS

I had a procedure done this morning and I can not rave enough about this practice! The staff and Dr. Hughes are all absolutely nothing leas than amazing! From the moment I walked in, I was treated with such professionalism and friendliness and they made me feel so comfortable and calm. I read a review above about several cancellations, and we have to remember that we are all human, and unexpected life events do arise. I'm so glad that I waited for him to feel better and let his practice take care of me. A+ in my book!

If I could give this office 0 stars thats what I wouldve have done. This office is so unprofessional its not even funny. Boyfriend had surgery scheduled over a month ago and was canceled day of due to doctor having COVID. Was rescheduled for them to then call us day before and say he was going out of the town so it would be rescheduled again. Finally scheduled third date for this morning just for them to call us when we were already on our way to tell us apparently he contracted COVID again, which isnt possible. They then told us that he never went out of town and they dont know why someone would tell us that when it was the same girl on the phone, so she told us that. This doctor apparently just doesnt want to work and do his job so I will never step foot in there again.

So I really suck with anxiety and dentists / teeth work. I've had some pretty bad experiences which led to me neglecting the dentist. Recently I've started to better myself, and part of that is working on my teeth. I had to get 3 wisdom teeth and 2 broken molars removed, and I was super nervous about it. I got a recommendation to come here from my dentist to get the teeth removed, after making an appointment, they did the xray and scheduled me out for surgery after insurance approved it. They even bumped me up after they had a cancelation. The day of the surgery comes, and me being a caffeine addict and a chronic smoker, I was having a really hard time, yet the staff was all super helpful and very nice. They helped me with some nausea, probably from caffeine and nicotine withdrawals, and the doctor himself was probably one of the funniest and nicest people I've met. They all made me feel incredibly comfortable, the surgery went well and I don't even remember any of it is the best part. The healing is going great, no long lasting effects, I really recommend this place if you can get a dentist to get you here.

I had such a great experience!! Im never had an easy time when Im at the dentist offices, but they made this such a comfortable and pleasant experience. Cynthia and Julia were the best and made me feel so safe and explained everything they were doing. Dr. Gene Hughs was also so light hearted and made a scary situation really pleasant. Thank you guys!!
