John Balfanz Homes Sales

I have lived in my new home less than 2 months (Moved in Sept 2023) and already the air conditioning has stopped working as of Saturday. I have called both numbers I was instructed to call and sent an email. No response from anyone. This is not how businesses should be operated. I would not recommend this company. Seeing all these negative reviews in regards to warranties, maybe you should consider a new system, workflow, and people because your team has no customer service experience. Tyler reached out today and told me he had no air conditioning experience. I explained what was wrong the system, will not turn on no matter how cold you set the thermostat. He asked when I was available I said after 330 he said that was too late for him because he comes into work early, I offer 6am and he said yes. Then txted back at 330 and told me they cant make it because its not warm enough outside to check the air conditioner and if Im free next week sometime mid day. Can someone who actually knows something call me.

We moved into our new home, built by this company, in November 2020. We soon noticed our shower door was leaking, and was instructed to file a request on their app. Multiple attempts have been made on the portal. Some have been acknowledged and minor repairs made; however, nothing to repair our master shower door in entirety. The shower door leaks. After a couple of initial attempts to have this addressed, they filled the cracked groute and painted the damaged baseboard, which has again turned yellow due to water damage. The shower door company has come twice to our residence, but advised they need a Balfanz representative to make other repairs at the same time they do their repairs because others are needed from Balfanz. This lack of prompt customer service over an ongoing issue is very disappointing and unprofessional. I currently do not recommend building a Balfanz home to anyone due to this and other failures in this company's communication efforts that we have experienced between our home and my mother's new build. *UPDATE 7/14/23* Left a message a while back as requested, and didn't hear back. Finally had our shower repaired, but almost 3 years later have still not had multiple other warranty repairs completed including electrical work and fog coating. Amy with warranty repairs was on it for a short period, but moved and yet again we have waited or been pushed off for repairs. They should invest in a semi decent repair request software or other system. Our electrical is also a joke and has been for almost 3 years. Multiple people in our housing track have complained. Our outlets are installed pathetically, and all lighting and fans are hit or miss for working. We've experienced sparks and other ongoing electrical complaints. Hopefully we never lose our home in a house fire! We can thank John Balfanz if we lose our 8 week old son in a house fire I suppose because their warranty department is truly a joke. Absolutely unacceptable service for the prices paid. Service: General repairs & maintenance
