Whimsical Events

Amanda, the coordinator, made the wedding planning more stressful than stress-free. We had to coordinate with the vendors and with each other most of the time because she was very inattentive. Shes not there when you need her. She was rude and very unfriendly. She kept on asking for additional money for stuff and not staying true to what was talked about. It felt like we were being scammed. She was very difficult to reach and did not even respond to the bride for a whole month. I DO NOT recommend her as a wedding coordinator at all!

Amanda and her team absolutely killed it for my wedding. They saw my vision and made it come to life. Amanda was very supportive along the entire planning process and I could not have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend booking them for any event. From my rentals to my day of, they made sure everything went so smoothly and stress free. No one had to guess or wonder what was going on, they collaborated with all of my vendors, and provided a service that went completely above and beyond my expectations.

Amanda and her girls were the absolute best! I couldnt have asked for a better team for my wedding day! I had a vision and Amanda out did it 10x it was so dreamy and beautiful and everything ran so smoothly I had absolutely no worries throughout the whole day! I cant recommend her and her girls enough!

Wish we had a better experience with them. After receiving downpayment, Amanda could not be reached for a month, putting a lot of stress on the bride. She is not helpful or cannot be reached when the bride asks questions. It seemed like she was not there to help. She was not flexible with the brides wishes. When we met her at the wedding rehearsal she was always on her phone, looks mad and was inattentive. Amanda did not want to work with our DJ to accomplish the program that the couple wanted. She rushed the photographers. She did not coordinate well with the other vendors, they kept calling the bride and groom for little things that she should have been taking care of. There was a lot of miscommunication costing the couple more money within a few days of the wedding. Amanda did not give receipts/invoice for additional money that she charged them for, even after being asked. She made rude and condescending comments to the family of the couple. Instead of showing them where to go, she is always irritated and impatient. She talks down to people. During the reception, the people did not know when it was their turn to go get food. The couples photos per table was organized by the guests themselves with the help of the DJ. Our friends and family helped the most in setting up a lot of stuff and clearing up afterwards. The only person who was actually helpful from their team was Katie.

I had the pleasure of working with Amanda and Katie with Whimsical Events during a full service wedding this past weekend! I was a photographer at the wedding and felt that it was an absolute flawless day. If you work in the wedding industry, you know that every wedding has some kind of challenge or hiccup (even if the bride and groom dont know it, which is always the goal!) But in all honesty, the entire day from start to finish was incredibly smooth sailing. Amanda and Katie were always around when we needed them, they continuously checked on all the vendors throughout the day, and all while making the bride and groom a priority. The couple seemed incredibly at ease through the day and genuinely happy. The bride even sincerely thanked the Whimsical Team during her speech to their guests. Every detail of the wedding was thoughtful and intentional, while truly showcasing the couples interests and style. I would be absolutely honored to work alongside Amanda and her team at any event she plans and coordinates, as I know it will be an incredible experience for everyone involved!
