Chicago Title Kern County

This company deserves no stars. I purchased a home in 2019 and believed all the paperwork was filed and completed correctly. When it was time to pay county property taxes we found out that they did not file the paperwork as needed and the records showed we were not the owners. I called them to fix this, and even sent them the original paperwork they needed to file. I tried multiple times to reach out to them and they assured me they handled the situation. When the time came to sell the property, we were told the paperwork was never filed. I reached out to Chicago Title and they told me they lost the original paperwork I sent them. It was a mess trying to resign and submit the paperwork. Since selling my home, I am still having to deal with Unsecured Escape Bills from KCTTC because it took Chicago Title soo long to make the name change. Not only did they lack professionalism, they lacked customer service and treated us as if we weren't worthy to receive their services. I would recommend you find any other title company besides Chicago Title.

We gave Chicago Title a difficult deal, that was way out of the box, private investor deal, the main rep was Jennifer Navarro, we had no less than a half a dozen people involved in this transaction, because of the uniqueness in this deal, it had more twists and turns then anyone person could imagine and we expected Jennifer to understand the madness that came from this deal. I wanted to leave this feedback, because I was thinking about my part in this transaction, I expected Jennifer to read are minds and figure things out, that were not normal. In the end I realized she did a great job, because the deal was a complete mess and she stuck in there and got the deal done in spite of all of us. Jennifer was tested by all of us and she kept it together and she stayed professional. In the end I appreciate her for dealing with all of us. We put her through a lot. I recommend her highly. Thank you Jennifer.

I highly recommend them for any of your real estate/title needs. They really put the time and effort to make things happen. I can claim that I had a good experience with their service without a doubt. Ask for Jon or Maria.

Not professional at all call 4 times left message and 2 day later the call me back They lost some paperwork and my cashiers check tank god I had receipt, my loan officer and my realtor keep calling them to see what was going on why we were closing if everything was sign and ready and they just told them that they where going close on October 18 when everything was scheduled to October 2 and they just stop answering there call now Im stuck living in a hotel and renting a storage because i gave my 1 month notice to my land lord If I have to wait on till October 18 to get the house Ill have to spend in additional 3500 in hotel, storage,U-Haul buying a house should be a happy time but this is a nightmare and now im homeless
