image Purchased 4 Garment boxes for packing clothes! Cost over $20 each! Only 1 out of the 4 boxes purchased was usable and even that one had to be taped up to use with very few garments. Had to use bubble wrap under the top of the box to ensure my clothes would not be exposed! And no, I didnt take them back! No time! Was on a very tight schedule! I expected the quality that Ive come to know and appreciate with Home Depot products! Very disappointed! Amazon garment boxes were better and cheaper!

image Aisles are overcrowded with shambled merchandise on the floor and shelves, out of stock issues everywhere, employees all seem clueless, checkout is a joke with the new setup. Might as well be shopping a warehouse, or better yet just buy it online.

image We paid thousands of dollars for new carpet for our home two months ago with an installation date of June 30-July 1. We picked the perfect product for our home and the perfect date for our family. Four days before the scheduled install date, my husband and kids worked together to dismantle furniture in every room, box and move over 3000 books, clear out stuffed closets, and on and on. We stuffed our garage and tiled dining room FULL of boxes and furniture. My husband and I even took time off work to have the house ready for our big June 30 install. After days of labor, our family was so excited. We moved our kids out of the house to stay with a nearby relative for two nights. On the afternoon before our install, we received a call from Home Depot's selected installer, Romanoff Renovations, saying that their sub-contractor had a family emergency and that our installation would be pushed to August. AUGUST ... 4+ weeks away!!! My husband said calmly that this was unacceptable, that my house was unlivable, and that we had put life on hold until the carpet installation was done. The nice Romanoff lady tried to find other local sub-contractors to lend a hand, but they were booked. The next day (June 30), we were offered an installation in two weeks (mid-July). Again, what were we supposed to do for two weeks? I work from home and our house is in shambles! My husband declined the offer because we could not continue to put life on hold, and because we wanted Romanoff to keep working toward a sooner date. We've called Romanoff and Home Depot daily to get updates, and we are still in limbo. The big problem is that Home Depot's policy prevents Romanoff from finding an available, unapproved local contractor to get the job done. Sub-contractors are out there looking for work, but Home Depot will not look at them. Our family is very upset, disappointed, frustrated and inconvenienced by this last-minute change! If you want new carpet, don't use Home Depot. Pay a little more and get it done right to avoid what we are experiencing now.
