We worked with Liz from Blue Velvet Studio on multiple projects since 2018. Our planning and permitting processes were always very collaborative and enjoyable. No matter what challenges came up, Liz was always on top of things and helped us move forward cost efficiently. We recommend Liz and Bkue Velvet Studio wholeheartedly!

We highly recommended Liz from Blue Velvet studio she did a great job for our big project in our home. She was very kind and patient in helping us with our home remodeling. Although we were very indecisive with the whole project, she provided many options and made our decision a lot easier. We are truly thankful to Blue Velvet Studio and Liz for her hard work and dedication.

Rarely do you come across a firm that operates under such low levels of integrity & professionalism. Liz missed every deadline set. Every email came with a long list of errors. Your head will spin with the level of micro management required to work with this firm. Here's our experience: More time was spent ensuring she earns her deposit than on producing accurate drawings. In hindsight, we should have known better. Someone who takes the time to outline when/how she needs to be paid, more than sharing passion for prior work, should be your first flag. From there, we immediately noticed errors in the existing floor plan that she sent over. The revision? A new file with new errors. Her remodel floor plan came with illogical drawings ie a bedroom where you can only enter from our kitchen. Huh? Why would anyone want that, especially when we already suggested a much better floor plan (which she ignored). We then took the time to draw out the ideal floor plan, with pictures.. the whole nine yards. Liz promised a revision that Thursday. Nothing. Shen then promised Friday. Nothing. Promised Sat, Nothing. Its only on Sunday when we requested a refund, did she send an updated version, that of course you guessed it, had a list of errors and ignored our suggested floor plan.Bottom line: Stay far way from this vendor. She's the classic version of an architect that will end up costing you thousands in errors. Beware.
