I'd I could give this a less than one star, I would.  This contractor did work on a condo that I bought.  Both the walls and the ceiling were not done to code, so they had to be redone.  Since he had to redo the wall and ceiling, and didn't get paid to do redo the work, he didn't care what kind of job he did.  He broke my closet door, scratched up my kitchen counters, and painted the walls 2 different colors.  On top of that, he didn't pull the required permits and the city inspector came out to threaten me.  The kitchen cabinets and microwave door don't even open all the way.  He did a horrible job and refused to make it right.  Avoid this contractor at all costs!

My husband and I are familiar with the character and quality of JR Builders. We have visited several of the homes Janik renovated and we were very impressed with his work. We asked him many questions about a DIY home project we were working on and he offered his expertise freely and gave us some excellent ideas. I will definitely use this company with confidence for any future projects of ours.

I honestly don't think too many people can say this about their contractor, but Janik is someone whom I consider as talented (has an eye for great design), honest, calm even under pressure, and extremely hard working. This is why I recently contracted with him again to remodel my and my fianc's two-story, fixer upper home - and this is 3.5 years later, after he worked on my previous property which was completely renovated by JR Builders because it was flooded. And boy, Janik did not disappoint on our now dream home either! From selecting the flooring, tiles, counter tops, cabinets, bathroom/kitchen fixtures, and kitchen appliances, to designing our custom master closet and dining room (which both didn't previously exist), Janik gave us his valuable input and completed everything beautifully - and on time! Every time we have our friends and family members visit our home, they are so WOW'd by everything - and because of all this, my fianc and I are forever grateful to Janik and without a doubt, HIGHLY recommend him.

True gem! I hired Janik Roskovani to remodel my entire 3000 square foot 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home in Sherman Oaks 2 years ago. The JR Builders crew were all very skilled workers. There where many instances where I didnt know what to do or which direction to go, due to the home being so dated. Janik managed to resolve all of my issues in a timely manner and came up with some very good ideas both in design and construction innovations. He also custom crafted gorgeous metal doors for the patio that fit perfectly in the space. I would have had no idea how to make it happen without his expertise. He was extremely honest and hardworking during the entire process. I will absolutely use him for my next remodeling or home building project.
