WOW,  the Humboldt way has earned its reputation .  Went to ALVES for an estimate and they were twice as much as the competitors.  REALLY - this is what is wrong with the county- thieves like ALVES should not be a part of the equation.  Those that want to support local business but don't support those that are looking for competition.  I wish I could post the actual estimates but $680 vs. $1600+ - REALLY?  Go with air tight.  ALVES ARE PREDATORS

I am compelled to write this review after the most professional, kind and respectful interaction I had with the Alves roof repairers that came to my house today. I called at 8:30am to report a leak I found during the storm this past weekend and in 2 hours they had guys at my house to assess what was going on. They got right to work, knew how to assess the extent of the damage and repaired everything so wonderfully. They gave me updates as they were working explaining what they were doing and showing me pictures of the damage so I would be aware what was going on and even let me come up on the ladder when they were done to take a look at their excellent work. I am so impressed and grateful for their professionalism and prompt work. Thank you Nick and crew!
